Montana’s subsidiary Ventana s.a.s. has acquired Groupe AEMI, a French Tier one supplier to the aerospace industry from its founding owner
AEMI with plants in Bordeaux, near Porto in Portugal, Casablanca, Morocco, and Sousse, Tunisia, with a staff of 370 and a turnover of 21 m€, develops and produces precision engineered mechanical parts, essentially for the European and North-American aerospace industry.
The transaction was closed on January 28, 2020.
The acquired companies will be regrouped with Ventana’s existing engineering companies Ventana Taverny and Ventana Narcastet to form a new 32 m€ turnover specialised business unit under the leadership of Frédéric Louart, AEMI’s current Managing Director.
Both Frédéric Louart and Daniel Charbonnel, Managing Director of the recently acquired ALSENAM Group, have been nominated as Managing Directors of Ventana s.a.s. the group’s parent company.
