Montana has sold its shareholding in the aerospace group Nexteam and is reinvesting in Nexteam 2
Nexteam is one of the most important independent manufacturers of specialty high precision parts for the aerospace and defense industry.
Nexteam is headquartered in Marmande, France, with 21 plants in France, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Tunisia and Morocco.
2025 turnover amounted to € 336 m and is expected to top € 400 m in 2026.
Montana acquired its 11% shareholding in Nexteam by merging its Ventana Aerospace subsidiary with Nexteam in early 2022.
Proceeds from the sale of the Nexteam shareholding will boost Montana’s shareholder funds by more than € 40 m.
€ 20 m are being reinvested through shares and convertible bonds in Nexteam 2, which is acquiring all shares of Nexteam.
Other shareholders and investors in Nexteam 2 are the original founding families of Ludovic Asquini and Christophe Maury, historic co-investors from Ventana Aerospace and respected financial investors led by EMZ, Bpifrance and Amundi.
In this complicated transaction Montana benefited from the exceptional tax und legal expertise of the French law office of Lexeo, Pau, France, led by Ms. Isabel Simoes.
